Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer · Thinkia
Aaron Ranson is Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer at Thinkia, where he leads the AI function and the labs behind it.
That is where the engineering happens rather than the slideware: GraphRAG, agentic and multimodal retrieval, multi-agent orchestration with advanced reasoning and computer use, native speech-to-speech interaction and generative UI, and model engineering — small language models, DSPy, LLM-as-a-judge for automated quality auditing. Every Thinkia product was born on that bench, from Synapse to Enterprise Knowledge AI.
He takes the work outside as well: he has spoken at AI Talks in Madrid and in Murcia, where the questions are less about what a model can do than about what an organisation can trust it to do unsupervised.
Artificial Intelligence isn't just a tool—it's the next evolution of human capability. I lead our mission to harness AI's transformative power responsibly, building intelligent systems that augment human potential while maintaining ethical boundaries and creating genuine value.
01
The lab, and where its output ends up in the business.
The bench where the products were built: agents, retrieval, presence, trust and sovereign AI.
Synapse for governed orchestration, Enterprise Knowledge AI for retrieval, Sentinel for what happens once it is live.
The EU AI Act in operational terms: risk tiers, roles, a checklist and the official sources.
Where the research lands: solution briefs with what they include and honest outcome ranges.
02
The long-form documents he signed. Each one opens with an author’s letter and ends in a full PDF, with no form in the way.
Two companies, the same AI bill, opposite results. The difference is structural: ontology, talent, methodology, stack and speed. Licenses do not close it.
How the EU AI Act turns ethics and governance into business value—the operational lens, Thinkia AI Compass, and a roadmap to scale AI with trust.
For a technical conversation — architecture, retrieval, agent orchestration or evaluation — the contact form reaches me and the lab. For everything else, LinkedIn.
Role, photo and quote come from the team page, and the talks from the events archive, so this page follows the site rather than repeating it.
