Web Summit Lisbon 2025
Europe’s flagship tech conference — and AI at the centre of the floor.
From 10 to 13 November 2025, Web Summit Lisbon gathered 71,386 attendees from 157 countries at the MEO Arena: 2,725 startups, a record 1,857 investors and hundreds of government delegations. AI was the most represented industry on the exhibition floor — a clear signal of where enterprise attention is moving.
Thinkia was on the ground to connect with founders, technology leaders and partners shaping the next wave of enterprise AI: from agentic systems and data foundations to governance models that turn experimentation into durable operating impact.
Why it mattered for enterprise AI
- Scale of the AI conversation — Startups, corporates and investors aligned on AI as infrastructure, not a side project.
- Deal-making in person — A 74% rise in attending investors underlined appetite for real partnerships, not slide decks.
- Global perspective — New tracks such as the China Summit and Future of Media Summit reflected how AI reshapes markets beyond a single region.
For Thinkia, Web Summit was a chance to stress-test our message with an international audience: direction, governance and coherence beat isolated pilots — the same principle we bring to every enterprise transformation.
We left Lisbon with stronger relationships, sharper market signals and renewed conviction that the organisations winning with AI are the ones treating it as an operating discipline, not a novelty.
