Talent Arena at MWC Barcelona 2026
Where digital talent meets the companies building what’s next.
From 2 to 4 March 2026, Talent Arena — organised by Mobile World Capital Barcelona and co-located with MWC Barcelona and 4YFN — turned Fira Montjuïc Hall 8 into Europe’s largest gathering for developers and digital professionals.
The 2026 edition closed with 25,000 visitors (25% up on the previous year), 9,000 in the XPRO zone for senior profiles, and 200+ sessions spanning AI, open gateway APIs, security, open source and hands-on workshops. Headline speakers included Tim Berners-Lee, Kate Darling and leaders from GitHub, Microsoft and Atlassian.
Thinkia joined to recruit and engage AI engineers, data specialists and product builders — profiles who understand that telecom and enterprise stacks are converging around agents, APIs and governed automation.
Why Talent Arena — not just MWC
- Developer-first energy — Less expo hall wandering, more technical depth and community.
- Barcelona as a talent capital — MWCapital’s year-round mission to grow digital skills matches our need for people who ship, not just slide.
- MWC week multiplier — Attendees could extend into the broader congress ecosystem; Thinkia stayed focused on teams that build production AI.
Attendees with a Talent Arena pass also received access to MWC Barcelona on 5 March — a reminder of how connectivity, cloud and AI infrastructure continue to merge.
We’re back in Barcelona because the hardest enterprise AI problems need people who code, integrate and govern at scale — exactly the audience Talent Arena gathers.
